April 1, 2023, officially marks the 30th birthday of Bay Food Brokerage! A company that began with two partners focusing on perishable food brokerage in Florida has grown into a 60-employee retail food broker representing all store categories in retailers throughout the Southeast. We simply couldn’t have done it without the hard work and never-ending support of so many people along the way, including our amazing team and clients.

Cruising into the Anniversary Year
We’re kicking off our 30th anniversary year on the high seas with a Sales Incentive Trip! From March 31 through April 2, we’re taking a Caribbean cruise on Royal Caribbean’s Independence of the Seas. We can’t wait to enjoy a few days of fun in the sun with our fellow retail food broker professionals. They dedicate so much time and energy to Bay Food and our clients.
Celebrating Our History
This family-owned food broker business has many compelling tales to tell from the past three decades. Through stories, photos and video, we’ll take a look back at how Bay Food started, how it’s grown, and what’s contributed to where it is today.
We’ll highlight the people who have made it happen. This includes our Founder, CEO and President Cammie Chatterton, who has continually overcome obstacles in a male-dominated industry. Also, we’ll share what it was like for EVP Chris Chatterton to grow up alongside his mother’s food broker business. And we’ll feature the many team members and clients who have supported us since 1993.
